Mother Nature didn't supply much snow for Winterfest on Saturday, but she did come through with plenty of cold sunshine.
And the snow these days can conveniently come from a machine.
Children darted across the Weston Town Green Saturday as popular music blared and people took advantage of all the activites Winterfest had to offer.
Winterfest was an event planned in celebration of the town's 300th anniversary and is just one of many celebratory events on the agenda throughout the year.
Children (and some adults) hurled down the sledding hill while others skated on one of two town green rinks. At various firepits, guests warmed their hands or charred enormous marshmallows for a sticky treat.
The beauitful ice scultpures captured plenty of attention has children posed with glassy penguins and admired the Weston300 emblem carved in ice.
