Weston Selectmen Approve Town Meeting Warrant

The Board of Selectmen approved the warrant at their meeting on April 9.

The Weston Board of Selectmen voted to approve the Town Meeting warrant at its meeting April 9, and also approved the special Town Meeting warrant. Town Meeting begins on May 7.

Other business before the board Monday night included:

  • Selectmen arrpoved the report of the board for the warrant and budget book.
  • Selectmen voted to appoint Dusty Rhodes to the Tercentennial Committee.
  • Selectmen approved the fiscal 2013 operating budget. There was a reduction of $500,000 due to health insurance premiums being less than anticipated.
  • Selectmen approved an amendment to an affordabililty covenanat for 16 Love Lane.
  • Selectmen approved a collective bargaining agreement with the Weston Firefighters' Association for July 2, 2010, to June 30, 2013.
