For ages four and up and their families!
Join award-winning storyteller Davis Bates in a performance of participatory stories and songs for the whole family!
Entitled A Song and Story Celebration, the program will include
traditional and contemporary folk songs and stories from New England and around the world. Hear how coyote got his howl, how foam came to be in the ocean, and more, and be prepared to sing, move and clap your hands. There will even be a short lesson on how to play the musical spoons, and a guest appearance by a dancing wooden dog named Bingo.
This program is funded, in part, by a grant from the Weston Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council,
a state agency, and by the Friends of the Weston Public Library.
