EPOCH of Weston to host nutrition workshop (April 16)

EPOCH Senior Healthcare of Weston will host the presentation, “Understanding Nutrition Labels” on Wednesday, April 16 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Registered Dietitian Josh Hammond will explain how to decode labels’ numbers and percentages, which ingredients to seek and avoid, and which ingredients are regulated by the FDA and USDA. Guests are encouraged to bring labels from some of their favorite foods to get a personal consultation. This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
