The Rivers School presents Sondheim's fairy-tale musical "Into the Woods"

The Rivers School presents Stephen Sondheim’s fairy-tale musical Into the Woods at Regis College in Weston for two nights only – Thursday and Friday, February 21 and 22, at 7 p.m.

Into the Woods is a magical adventure that takes many of the Grimm fairytales (including Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapuzel) spins them on their head, and intertwines them in a very unique way. While everyone is familiar with the traditional fairytale ending of happily ever after, this musical follows these stories even further to explore the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests.

Director David Tierney and Assistant Director / Musical Director Chris Holownia lead the talented 23-person cast and live orchestra.  Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the door or by calling 781-235-6840.  Regis College Fine Arts Center is located at 235 Wellesley Street in Weston.
