Read to a Dog!

Sign up to Read to a Dog at the Library!

For kids in Kindergarten through fourth grade.

Why is reading to a dog fun and educational? Because they're soft and
furry and warm, and they love the attention you'll give them as you
practice your reading aloud skills!

Sign up for a fifteen minute time between 10:30 and noon. Dog and
reader will be in the Storytime Room, one-on-one, with the trainer present.
Parents and siblings must wait outside during the reading, but
can spend the last two minutes of the reading time meeting the dog or
taking pictures.
