Guns 'n' Hoses: Police vs. Fire Department Charity Hockey Game
When/Where: Saturday at 7 p.m. at The Rivers School, 333 Winter St, Weston.
Why Go: This third annual event features door prizes, contests and games along with a kids skate that starts at 6:30 p.m. This free event is one for the whole family.
Price: Free


When/Where: Saturday at 4 p.m. at the William Chase Arena, 35 Windsor Ave., Natick.
Why Go: This is an opportunity for young girls to try there skates at ice hockey with guidance from the Comets, traveling girls ice hockey teams with members from Wayland, Weston and many other surrounding towns.

Sudbury Savoyards Presents 'Ruddigore'When/Where: The show opens Friday with a performance at 8 p.m. Other performances this weekend include Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. All performances take place at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, 390 Lincoln Rd, Sudbury.
Why Go: Star-crossed lovers, mistaken identity, intrigue and more make up this Gilbert and Sullivan operetta. Basically, everything you'd expect in television primetime, but live and in-person.
Price: $22, Adults; $17, seniors and students; $12, children under 12.

Snake Brook Conservation Area WalkWhen/Where: Saturday at 2 p.m. at Snake Brook Conservation Area, French Ave and Commonwealth Road, Wayland (meet at the end of French Avenue).
Why Go: This is part of a series of walks designed to connect the participants' feet with all the trails of Wayland. Earth-Connecting: Walking Wayland, is a time to systematically explore each of Wayland's trails, taking time to enjoy and meditate.
Price: Free.

When/Where: Friday at 1 p.m. at The Orchard House, 399 Lexington Rd, Concord.
Why Go: Even if you've visited the historic Louisa May Alcott family home before, this tour will be interactive and guided by a costumed actor portraying a member of the famous family or one of their famous friends.
Price: Adults, $12; seniors and students, $10; youths (6-17) $8; children (2-5) $4; family rate (2 adults and up to 4 youths) $30.
