Consider Supporting Weston Media Center's Request

Have you ever tried to find a video of a Weston Town meeting?  The current process makes it difficult to find what you are looking for, and quite difficult to record a specific meeting.

Please consider supporting the Weston Media Center's warrant article (#11) at Town Meeting. Adding funding for the Media Center will create a web based Video-On-Demand library, and a DVD archive of community broadcasts and town government videos. This article will also provide greater technical resources to the media center, making things like improved to sound quality possible. 

Televising municipal meetings is a great way to expand access to citizen government. Enabling access to these videos at any time will increase our ability to watch important meetings, everything from Town Meeting, to School Committee Meetings, and Selectman meetings.

Weston Community Access Cable receives less funding through the fees from cable subscribers than neighboring towns.  Warrant article 11 will help to fill some of this gap.
