Pinnacle Report for Weston MA Real Estate 11/12/12 - 11/25/12

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving, which to me is always the official kick-off of the holiday season -- a time filled with decorations, inflatables, nutcrackers (pictured here), holiday parties, children's concerts, shopping galore, family happenings and tons of fun. As we enter into this time of the year, I send you happy wishes for a fabulous few weeks of holiday festivities and cheer.

And now back to the task at hand - the Weston, MA real estate market ... In the last two weeks in Weston, four single family homes came on the market and seven sold.* Our sold activity was strong especially given that we just celebrated the long Thanksgiving weekend. This is traditionally when our inventory is at its lowest as many sellers rest their homes from the market during the holidays. We see this reflected in our current number of listings (49) -- the lowest it has been since I started my Pinnacle Report in January 2010. To give some perspective, the inventory was 62 in my last report and 79 this time last year. This market never ceases to amaze ...
