This is the first time since the start of 2012 that the market volume of a two-week time period this year was less than the same two-week period last year. But it was only slightly off. Specifically our market volume for the last half of February 2012 was $4,968,000 vs. $5,110,000 for the last half of February 2011. Our number of solds for these past two weeks was also less (3 vs. 4). But our median price was higher for these two weeks ($1,900,000) vs. the same time last year ($975,000). And the good news is that we are still up in terms of our year-to-date numbers** 2012 vs. 2011. Specifically, our 2012 number of properties sold is 14 vs. 10 in 2011, our 2012 market volume is $21,644,025 vs. $12,206,000 in 2011, and our 2012 median price is $1,358,750 vs. $1,219,000 in 2011.

Finally, there weren't any land sales for the last half of February 2012.
