Well, it looks like the year is getting off to a fairly good start, at least when you compare it with the results of this same time frame last year. There were two sold properties for these two weeks in January 2012 and in January 2011, but the total market volume and median price were both higher this year than last. Specifically, total market volume was $3,775,000 for these two weeks this year vs. $2,015,000 the same two weeks last year, and median price was $1,887,500 for January 1-15, 2012 vs. $1,007,500 for January 1-15, 2011. In terms of land sales, there weren't any for these first two weeks of January.
