This edition of Weekend Happenings is positively galactic.

Bill McKibben: "Report from the Front Lines of the Climate Fight"
When/Where: Sunday at 3 p.m. at Weston High School, 444 Wellesley Street, Weston.
Why Go: Author, educator and environmentalist Bill McKibben will be presenting on what can still be done in the climate fight.
Price:  Free

Fourth Annual Civics Bee
When/Where: Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wayland Middle School, 201 Main St, Wayland.
Why Go: This is the year Wayland, Weston and Sudbury settle the score. Each team has one the trophy once, so this will be the year that one team pulls ahead. Come show your town pride.
Price: Free


When/Where: Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Wayland Public Library, 5 Concord Road, Wayland.
Why Go: Anyone over the age of 5 is invited ... and Star Wars costumes are encouraged. If the chance to don a Chewbacca costume isn't enough, then the Star Wars trivia, video games and otherwise cosmic fun should do it.

Spring Horse Show
When/Where: Sunday at 9 a.m. at North Gate Farm, 999 Concord Road, Sudbury.
Why Go: This is a perfect event for people who love horses, but don't want to pa a fortune or travel far to see them compete. Riders will compete for ribbons and prizes.

"Fiddler on the Roof"
When/Where: Multiple shows this weekend at R. J. Grey Junior High School, 16 Charter Rd, Acton.
Why Go: Because Tevye said so. Just kidding. Actually this is a good chance to see an iconic musical without traveling forever or paying a fortune.
