Vicious Dog attack at the Reservoir

Thanks to Dr. Sara  at Weston Vet for taking such good care of Hopper after she was blindside attacked by an uncontrolled dog unleashed by a careless owner at the Weston Reservoir this morning. 

Poor little sweetie was just finishing up her a.m. hike with best bud Dakota and D's mom when dog came out of nowhere and viciously bit her flank, requiring sutures,pain meds and antibiotics. 

Owner's reply: So sorry, I usually leash him but I was letting him chase a squirrel.

What if that were a child, or my friend or friend's mom who was visiting from Indiana and loves to walk Hopper?

Blonde woman.  Ponytail . Two big dogs. Med. length fur, not smooth coat. Usually both on leash.

Please  be careful!

10 days antibiotics.  Pain meds 3 days.  No water play.  Sutures out on July  7.  

And--

On leash for 45 days. Because we do not have the other dog to quarantine .  Damn.
