Judge Upholds Murder Charge in Regis College Killing
Police believe Robenson Daniel killed a Waltham man in 2010 on campus.
A Middlesex Superior Court judge this week refused to dismiss a murder charge against a man accused of killing a Waltham teenager at Regis College in 2010.
The development comes after the attorney for Robenson Daniel, 21, claimed police mishandled the investigation into claims his client killed Elhadji Ndiayem, 18, during a dispute at Regis College in Weston, according to an April 10 Associated Press report on Boston.com.
Specifically, the attorney claimed State Police mislead witnesses and twisted answers to bolster the case against Daniel. Police belive Daniel, a Boston resident, stabbed Ndiayem to death on the Regis College campus in September 2010.
