Medford Pair Arrested in Weston on Larceny Warrants
Ex-employees of Biogen alleged to have stolen $137K.
A routine stop on Thursday afternoon in Medford resulted in the arrest of two residents on larceny charges stemming from an incident in Weston in which they are alleged to have stolen thousands of dollars from Biogen Idec Inc. on Boston Post Road.
According to Weston Police, a motor vehicle stop and license check revealed that the two Medford residents, Maria Nazario, 34, of 3620 Mystic Valley Parkway, Kevin Johnson, 27, of the same address, each had outstanding warrants for larceny over $250.
Sgt. David Tinglof of the Weston Police said Nazario and Johnson were employees of Biogen at the time of the alleged theft, believed to be in the amount of $137,000. Once apprehended by Medford police, the pair were arrested and booked by Weston police, who made the drive to Medford.

Nazario and Johnson were arraigned at Waltham District Court on Friday morning.
