Weston PD Chase Down Escaped Farm Animals

A few Weston farm animals made a run for it Sunday morning.

Wayland Police received an unusual call Sunday morning just after dawn: The caller spotted farm animals wandering along Route 20.

According to Wayland dispatch, the barnyard break had Wayland and Weston Police officers responding to the scene where a couple of horses and a donkey were on the ... ahem ... "lamb."

Weston dispatch said it took the officers only a few minutes to "shoo" the animals back to their home at 21 Plain Road in Weston. The address is listed as that of Lars and Deborah Lambrecht, though no one answered at the residence when Weston dispatch called early this morning nor when Patch reached out.
