Weston Police Department Welcomes New Officer

The Weston Police Department announced its newest patrolman on its Facebook page.

The Weston Police Department this week welcomed 26-year-old Drew Gribbons as its newest patrolman.

According to the Weston Police page on Facebook, Gribbons grew up in Auburn, Mass., and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at Holy Cross. He has served as a part-time officer with past several years as a part time police officer on Martha's Vineyard and with the Town of Webster Police Department.

Gribbons graduated last month from the Worcester Police Academy, the announcement reads, and will spend the next 12 weeks in the Weston Police Department's Field Training Program.

Through the program, Gribbons will work with a veteran officer in the Weston Police Department to receive training specific to the department.
