Weston Police Logs: Deer Shot After Car Crash

The following information was provided by the Weston Police Department. Where charges or arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is a sampling of the Weston  Police logs.

Sept. 28

1:15 a.m. - Police arrested Scott Kelly, 44, of Natick and charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol and a marked lanes violation. Police stopped the car he was driving on Route 30 near Wellesley Street. 

1:21 a.m. - Railroad gates stuck on Viles Street. 

11:58 a.m. - Noise complaint on Boston Post Road. Services rendered. 

1:53 p.m. - Dog complaint on Concord Road. Services rendered. 

7:06 p.m. - Animal complaint on Wellesley Street. 

Sept. 29

3:52 p.m. - Animal complaint on North Avenue. Services rendered. 

5:37 p.m. - Disabled car on Nash Lane. Services rendered. 

7:04 p.m. - Car crash with a deer involved on Church Street. Police shot a deer after a car crashed into it on Church Street at North Avenue. The dear sustained injuries and could not be saved. 

Police performed seven car stops.

Sept. 30

3:09 p.m. - Car crash with injuries on Boston Post Road. 

5:06 p.m. - Dog complaint on South Avenue.
