UPDATED: Weston Students Back in Class After Gas Leak

The leak is at 16 Alphabet Ln.

UPDATED, 1:54 p.m.: Woodland school students ahve returned to the school building, according to Weston Police. Crews will remain on scene for now.

Weston Police and utility crews are responding to a natural gas leak at 16 Alphabet Ln.

The leak was caused by crews working at a construction site at the Field school project, according to Weston Police. 

According to Weston Police, Woodland school students have been evacuated by bus to the Recreation Department on Alphabet Lane. The kids will remain at the recreation building until they are cleared to reenter the school.

Also, Country elementary school students have not been evacuated, according Weston Police.
