Case's Corner on Monday's Selectmen Agenda in Weston

The most recent aspects of the proposed roundabout will be presented to the Board of Selectmen at its meeting.

Tonight, the Weston Board of Selectmen will hear at its meeting from the Traffic and Sidewalk Committee on a potential plan to build a roundabout at Case's Corner. The item is on the agenda for 7 p.m.

At a whether to build a roundabout at Newton and Wellesley streets was discussed, with some members of the public saying it wasn't needed and would be aesthetically unappealing, and others saying it's a welcome change to aid safety.

After that meeting, more than 150 people voted in asking readers their thoughts on the roundabout.

Only a handful of residents showed up at where members discussed the feedback received on Jan. 11 and heard from two residents on opposing sides of whether the roundabout is needed.

The Traffic and Sidewalk Committee is updating the Board of Selectmen tonight in advance of Town Meeting, where members will likely request design funds.
