Quick Guide to Tonight's Special Town Meeting

Weston's 2012 Special Town Meeting will take place tonight at Weston High School

Weston residents will come together tonight to vote on several articles in the Warrant for the 2012 Special Town Meeting. Below are a few facts you need to know about tonight's meeting.

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. in the Weston High School auditorium.

Who: A quorum of 40 registered voters is required to hold the meeting. The deadline to register to vote in a Special Town Meeting is 10 days before the meeting. If you registered by Nov. 16, you are eligible to vote tonight.

What: Voters will be considering a total of eight articles including one to appropriate additional funds ($35,239) to the Fiscal Year 2013 operating budget, to make an additional payment to the Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) fund, to authorize a new revolving account for the Planning Board, to amend the zoning bylaw and a few more items.
