Town Caucus Chooses Candidates for Ballot

Fifteen candidates were nominated Monday night for various town-elected positions.

Just scraping by over the 25-people quorum requirement, a caucus Monday night nominated Weston residents whose names will be placed on the ballot at the May Town Meeting for election.

Taking just over a half hour, the caucus nominated 15 Weston residents to run for various boards and committees such as the Board of Selectmen and School Committee.

Anyone not nominated at the caucus can take out nomination papers and submit them to the town clerk by Monday, March 21.
