The Conant Road railroad crossing will be closed this weekend.
MassDOT has informed the Town of Weston that necessary repair work will start at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4 through 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7. The road will be closed and there will be detours.
Passage to and from Concord and Conant roads will be accessible on Viles Street.
Town officials warn that the Founders’ Day Parade will complicate matters.
“The Founders' Day Parade on Saturday will present additional, but temporary, road closings in accessing Boston Post Road, which will affect Conant Road, Concord Road and Church Street. These temporary closings will only be during the Parade and are expected to re-open to access Boston Post Road no later than 2 p.m.,” according to the Town of Weston.
