Voter Turnout is 'Slow But Steady' in Weston

Polls are open until 8 p.m.

Voting is going on for the presidential primary at three polling locations in Weston today, where poll workers say voter turnout has been "slow but steady."

At Westgate Church on Winter Street, voters from precincts three and four were casting ballots today. By 5 p.m., 214 people in precinct 3 had voted, while there were 280 ballots cast in precinct four.

Westgate Church was a new polling location for the precincts, due to construction at St. Demetrios Church. Despite that change, and a change due to 10-year redistricting, poll workers said voters hadn't voiced confusion over where to cast their vote. Signs were also placed at St. Demetrios to alert voters to the change.
