Home of the Week: 3 Sanderson Lane, Weston

The neighborhood, architecture and amenities all join forces to offer one of the most appealing and beautiful properties on the Weston real estate market today.

This magnificent shingle manor in one of Weston's most desired estate neighborhoods is unparalleled to other properties on the local real estate market today.

Acclaimed architect Tom Catalano raised all design standards and left no detail on the drafting table in the creation of this 15-year-old Arts and Crafts residence. Each of its 12 rooms flaunts extraordinary architectural features and design touches that draw the eye from the floor to the walls to the elevated ceilings.

In addition, environmental influences were heavily considered throughout its 8,342 square feet of living space with its extensive use of organic fibers, such as wood and stone, the insertion of four fireplaces and the inducement of light drawn from its imaginative lighting fixtures and natural sunlight from its abundance of oversized and decorative windows.

A two-story foyer provides the perfect introduction into this home and opens directly into the inviting and dramatic 25 x 20-square-foot living room with walls of glass and an overhead catwalk. This level also includes a 19 x 18-square-foot formal dining area, a 24 x 14-square-foot gourmet kitchen, a 17 x 17-square-foot fireplaced library drenched in rich wood and a fabulous 34 x 20-square-foot family room that includes a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and a wet bar.

This home hosts not one but two master suites with full baths. One is on the first level at 21 x 16 square feet (with a fireplace) and the other is on the second floor and measures 21 x 17 square feet.

The upper level also includes three additional bedrooms at 16 x 12, 12 x 10 and 18 x 15. The finished basement stretches the room options to accommodate an assortment of family interests with a 20 x 19-square-foot play room, a 23 x 19-square-foot game room and a 17 x 13-square-foot exercise room.

Outside, this property boasts similar advantageous and beautiful accessories with an in-ground pool nestled within rock walls and just steps from the back door and a charming patio to soak in the two and a quarter acre lush landscape.

This magnificent manor is a residence that will shield and nurture a growing family as well as adapt to their evolving needs. Prospective owners can finally experience the lifestyle of their dreams and reside in a home that will provide years of treasured memories.

Breathtaking first look at this house in Weston MA. I have to say my favorite room is the all wood wall study, absolutely beautiful. Price is a little high, but love to see such extravagant homes such as this. I was looking in Weston last year and used Teri Adler who was pretty knowledgeable about the Weston MA real estate market. http://www.teriadler.com/real-estate-weston-ma/
