Weston businessman Michael Halloran is one of two members of Regis College's Board of Trustees.
John Tegan Jr. of Boston was the other trustee tapped by the Members of the Corporation of Regist College.
According to an announcement from the college, "Halloran is formerly the global head of technology investment banking at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown in Boston and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Parmenter Healthcare, a non-profit in Wayland. He holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an AB in Economics from Princeton University.
Halloran's wife, Carolyn, is a member of the Regis College class of 1993. They and their four children have lived in Weston for 14 years.
"Regis has gone through major change in the last decade, from going co-ed and expanding its graduate programs to turning around its finances to operate in the black,” Halloran said in the press release. "It’s an exciting time at Regis, and I’m looking forward to working with a dedicated board and talented administration.”
Regis College President Antoinette Hays commented in the press release that both Halloran and Tegan have already begun contributing to the "growth and excellence of the college."
"I look forward to working with them more fully as we bring Regis to its next level of success and service in higher education in greater Boston," she added.
