○ Whiz Kids' Accomplishment: Fishman, a senior at Weston High School, was recently commended for reaching the short list of the International Young Person's Short Story Award.

○ Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness: Fishman is one of six students waiting to hear if she won first prize, which comes with a cash reward. She and her fellow five top writers were selected out of a group of about 450 entries. You can read the story here.
