Weston Bike Drive! Donate used Bikes and Equipment!

Donate your extra used bikes and equipment to Weston’s Bike Drive! The bikes will be given to kids who need them though an organization called Bikes not Bombs headquartered in Jamaica Plain.    


June 4, 9 am - 4 pm
Weston Transfer Station, 195 Church Street

June 13, 6 - 7:30 pm
Weston Ice Cream Social, Town Hall Green
(*Anyone have a truck we can borrow for the 13th?)

Bikes Not Bombs uses the bicycle as a vehicle for social change. They reclaim 6,000 bicycles each year, and create local and global programs that provide skill development, jobs, and sustainable transportation. Visit their site to learn more or get involved!  http://bikesnotbombs.org/ 

Donations Accepted:

All types of bikes (road, hybrid, mountain, BMX, tandem, etc.) All sizes (adult, child, etc.)Parts and tools of any kindEven some broken stuff! (e.g. cracked frame with usable components, worn tires, tubes with holes) Accessories (helmets, bags, lights, pumps, locks, etc.), Cycling clothing
