Weston Girls Cross Country Win DCL Small Schools Title
The Lady Wildcats beat out Concord-Carlise and Westford to take the title.

The battle for the DCL Small Schools Title was at stake at Wednesday night's dual meet among Weston, Concord-Carlisle and Westford.
Charlotte Walmsley & Olivia Brackett (tied 19:37) and Abigail Pohl (19:51) all broke 20 minutes for 5k on this challenging course to ensure victory for Weston (1-2-3). Edom Wessenyeleh (7), Zoe Snow (8), Read Allen (11) and Lina Makino (16) rounded out an outstanding performance.

Coach John Monz noted the major improvements by Edom and Read putting Weston in contention for the DCL title later this month.
In the boys' race, despite the win by Matt Herzig (16:48), and a fourth place by David Freeman (17:18), Weston succumbed to strong performances by Concord-Carlisle and Westford.
