Postponed: Town Center Paving Project; Likely on Hold Until Next Summer

The project has been postponed and will not occur this summer.

The Town Center Paving Improvement Project scheduled to take place this summer has been postponed, according to information on the town website.

The paving, on Boston Post Road, has been postponed due to Chapter 90 state transportation bond bill funding not yet receiving approval. Because of the funding delay, the paving project would not be able to be completed in July and August (when school is out and businesses see less traffic) as originally planned, the town website says.

The town is anticipating that the paving project will be rescheduled for summer 2013, depending on funding and the approval process, the town website says.
