Sudbury Woman Appointed Trustee of Parmenter Community Health Care

(Sudbury) Parmenter announced this week that Gail-Ann T. Simon of Sudbury has joined the Parmenter Board of Trustees.

“Gail-Ann is committed to volunteerism. She has been an active volunteer at our Miriam Boyd Parlin House Hospice Residence since 2000, along with a number of other community organizations. Parmenter celebrates this strong community spirit and we look forward to Gail-Ann’s participation as a Trustee,” said Cindy Mayher, CEO of Parmenter.

Parmenter, located in Weston, cares for residents in communities with exceptional visiting nurse and rehabilitation care, hospice and supportive services. Parmenter strives to help clients maintain or improve their current levels of function in the face of disease, disability or the aging process, and to assist those who suffer from a life limiting diseae and their loved ones with comfort and dignity.

Simon is a former teacher in the Needham schools and is currently a staff member at the Meadowbrook School of Weston. Simon attended Boston University and Yale University. She has also participated in the MA/NH Support Group Co-Facilitator Training in 2012.
