Warmer temperatures Thursday will bring in some heavy rains and clearing, before wintry weather is expected this weekend.
Light showers on Thursday will turn into heavy rains Thursday night into Friday bringing anywhere from a half inch to one inch of rain when the showers end sometime Saturday morning.
But those showers are expected to include sleet before 3 a.m. on Saturday morning with a chance of snow between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Snow is expected to be anywhere between a quarter and a half an inch as of the Thursday morning forecast.
Sunday is currently expected to bring early morning temperatures in the teens and 20s. And the forecast for Sunday night into early Monday morning will bring a wintry mix including snow, sleet and freezing rain before changing to all rain on Monday.
