The Weston Police Department is composed of 26 full-time officers, led by Chief Steven F. Shaw, who has been chief since 2003. The detectives unit, led by Lt. Daniel Maguire, specializes in domestic violence cases, civil rights violations and crimes against the elderly. Community services officer Kelly Maloney oversees juvenile, safety and crime prevention, and works with the schools to help promote safety and discourage drug and alcohol use. She is available to speak with parents who are concerned about drugs, alcohol or violence.
