Members of the New England Revolution were in Weston last weekend.
Weston soccer players headed to Weston Middle School April 28 for a fundraiser workshop and a chance to meet a few members of the New England Revolution. New England Revolution players Kevin Alston, Donnie Smith and Luis Soffner came out for Weston Youth Soccer’s ScoreOne SaveOne clinic. Proceeds from teh clinic benefited UNICEF. Alston, Smith and Soffner hung out with fan, signing autographs and posing for photos before they got down to soccer business. The three pros assisted in the clinic run by Revolution Academy coaches. One Weston snowboarder rode his way to a first place finish at the recent USASA Ski & Snowboard Nationals at Copper Mountain, Colo.
Greg Fligor rode his snowboard all the way to a first place finish in the Junior Division of the Giant Slalom competition in the USASA Ski & Snowboard Nationals at Copper Mountain, Colo. According to a press release, Filgor trained this winter as part of the Loon Snowboard and Freeride Competition teams at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire's White Mountains. "Loon is proud of all of its athletes who competed in the two-week competition, which serves as a training ground for future Olympians and X-Games athletes," the press release reads.

Congratulations to the Weston High School wrestlers named Dual County League All-Stars for the winter 2013 season.
The Weston High School wrestling team placed four wrestlers on the Dual County League's 2013 winter season all-star list. The list features 48 wrestlers from throughout the league, and nine schools placed wrestlers on the list. Of those nine schools, Weston placed as many as or more wrestlers than four of the other schools. Weston's's all-stars are spread out across four of 14 weight classes.
