Last-Minute Volunteer Ideas
It's not too late to help out with some charities this Thanksgiving week.
Even though it's the day before Thanksgiving, there's still time to help out in the community in small, easy ways. The Council on Aging is looking for volunteers to participate in a pilot program where individuals can use lotsahelpinghands.com to sign up to help a senior on a one-time basis. Take a walk, offer a ride, deliver a meal - pick the activity that makes most sense for your schedule. All family members can participate.
