Pumpkin Thanksgiving Cookies: Traditional, But New

I'm not much of a baker for the other 364 days but for Thanksgiving, I have perfected a couple of recipes, if I do say so myself. Just the thought of my flaky-crusted pecan pie with homemade vanilla whipped cream is enough to set my mouth to watering days beforehand; same for my pumpkin pie with a graham-cracker crust. Holiday Cookie Recipe Exchange

What's your favorite holiday cookie recipe?

November is here, and the holiday party season is nearing. Patch is inviting readers to share their favorite holiday cookie recipes. What's your go-to recipe? I met my now ex-husband on Thanksgiving, we eventually got together on Thanksgiving and his mom is a wonderful cook so Thanksgiving at his parents' house was always yummy. While I am VERY happy to be on my own (and to be spending THIS Thanksgiving with my own parents in CA), I have some pleasant and tasty memories of Thanksgiving to hold onto from when I was married.   more ›
