Young Acton Man Arrested for Home Robberies in Weston (Recently Arrested for Car Break-Ins)

John Williams, 21, of 47 Drummer Road, Acton, was arrested by Weston police Wednesday, Aug. 22, for several recent home robberies in Weston and Wayland. Police received a search warrant for Williams' home in Acton, where he recently moved in with someone he met online (according to the police report) and found numerous stolen computers, iPods, GPS devices and $3,000 cash. According to the report, a red flag came about when an individual purchased a computer on Craigslist that was stolen from a home in Weston last week. The person who bought the computer became suspicious of his purchase when he discovered personal information on the computer and reported it to the police.
