The following information was provided by the Town of Weston: Memorial Day: May 28, Program of Events Memorial Day Service Wreath Laying, outdoors, Town Hall War Memorial Parade Order of March: The parade will stop at the Fiske Memorial, Old Farmer’s Central Cemetery and Linwood Cemetery where memorial wreaths will be laid by Weston veterans and representatives of Weston Scout troops. Please be respectful & quiet when Sam Cekala and Clark Eglinton of the Weston H.S. The ceremony begins Monday, May 28, at 10 a.m.
The following information is from the Town of Weston: Weston's Memorial Day Ceremony will be held Monday, May 28, at 10 a.m. at the Town Hall Auditorium with patriotic musical selections and speakers. U.S. Army Lt. Col. (Dr.) Timothy F. Haley will be the guest speaker. Haley recently returned from a year-long deployment in Afghanistan. He will be joined by 100-plus members of the Weston High School Marching Band under the direction of Music Director Chris Memoli with soloist Crystal Evans, WHS Class of 2012. Prayers will be led by Rev. Philip Mayher of the Congregational Church and Deacon Guy St. Sauveur of St. Julia Parish. Following the service, all Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are invited to march in the parade led by the WHS Marching …
