Weston Resident Named First Female President, CEO of Boston Children's
Boston Children's Hospital's Board of Trustees announced the selection today.
A Weston resident has been named Boston Children's Hospital's first female chief executive officer and president, a role she will assume after the current CEO retires at the end of September 2013. The Board of Trustees of Boston Children's Hospital announced Nov. 29 that Sandra L. Fenwick will become the hospital's next CEO and president. The current CEO, James Mandell, will retire next fall, according to a press release. Fenwick will be the first woman to fill the role in the hospital's 143-year history.
