UPDATE: 18-Year-Old Man Killed in Rte. 128 Pedestrian Accident
Drivers experienced significant delays on Route 128 north and south after a pedestrian was struck and killed in Newton this morning.
[Update: 1:10 p.m.] State police say the victim was an 18-year-old man, who they believe was trying to cross the street. Next-of-kin is being notified. State Police believe the victim was struck by two vehicles. "... he was struck by a motor vehicle on the northbound side of the highway, thrown across the median into the southbound side, and struck again on that side of the highway.
