I believe I first fell in love with writing when I was around eight-years-old. After winning praise for an elementary school story, I knew I had found one of my passions in life. I eventually parlayed this hobby into a Creative Writing degree from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, where I also had a heavy hand in the school newspaper.
Upon graduation, I returned to my home state of Massachusetts to take a position as Editorial Assistant at the Hometown Weekly newspaper. A year later I was named as Editor and helped oversee such towns as Needham, Medfield and Walpole. I am especially proud of having served as the Editor in Chief of the first five Medfield Magazines during my time there. I additionally wrote a music review column for several years and have freelanced for a variety of websites. When I'm not writing and reporting, I enjoy hiking, reading, eating, playing guitar and spending time with my wife.
