I was born on Long Island, New York... and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii when I was 12 years old.  My middle and high school years were spent in Hawaii.  After graduating from Skidmore College (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), I went to Niigata, Japan to teach English.  I spent 10 years teaching in Japan.  During that time, I married my college boyfriend and had 3 daughters born in Tokyo.  We then moved on to Hong Kong where my son was born. We moved back to the states in 2001 and have been living in Weston ever since.
