Should I Stay or Should I Go?

Please join us for a conversation with an interesting panel of current and former Weston residents who will speak on their experiences of downsizing.

Have you ever thought about downsizing... or perhaps encouraging your parents to downsize? Then you should make it a point to join us tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 4, for a symposium sponsored by the Weston Council on Aging discussing housing options in Weston.

We have put together a panel of your neighbors to talk about their personal experiences with making the decision to move. One of the panelists lives in Merriam Village, another in the residences at Stonegate, and one decided to join a continuing care facility called North Hill. We have another panelist who sold a large home in favor of a smaller house near the town center, and another who decided to stay in her home that she has owned for many years.

This symposium is meant to start a discussion about the different options that exist in our area. The staff of the Council on Aging will be present to help answer the questions that come up. The program will be held in the great room at the and will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Hope to see you there!
