Weston Police Log: Aug. 21-24, Arrest Made After Home Break-Ins

Friday, Aug. 24

11:32 a.m. – A disturbance was reported at 319 North Ave.

7:59 p.m. – Fire was reported at 42 Sylvan Lane.

11:39 p.m. – Damage to a police car was noted at the police station.

Thursday, Aug. 23

12:00 p.m. – An animal complaint was received from the Brook School Apartments, 44 School St.

2:22 p.m. – Vandalism was reported under the Church Street bridge.

4:45 p.m. – A fire was reported at 115 Ridgeway Road.

9:06 p.m. – Activity was reported as suspicious on Old North Avenue.

 

Wednesday, Aug. 22

7:05 a.m. – Mailbox damage was reported at 20 Sears Road.

9:23 a.m. – Mailbox damage was reported at 50 Fairview Road.

1:48 p.m. – A car accident with injuries was reported on South Avenue at Ridgeway Road.

9:34 p.m. – An arrest was made at 180 Boston Post Road. John Williams, 21, of 47 Drummer Road, Acton, was charged with receiving stolen property, in connection with several house break-ins in Weston and Acton. ()

11:23 p.m. – Erratic driving was reported on Newton Street at Ash Street.

11:39 p.m. – A car was reported as suspicious at 86 Rolling Lane.

 

Tuesday, Aug. 21

8:25 a.m. – A car accident with injuries was reported at 101 River Road.

11:00 a.m. – A pedestrian was reported hit by a car on Wellesley Street at Boston Post Road.

3:34 p.m. – A person was reported as suspicious on Norumbega Road.

6:12 p.m. – A person was reported as suspicious on Norumbega Road.

6:38 p.m. – A past breaking and entering was reported at 423 Concord Road. Police made an arrest in the case (see arrest on Aug. 22).
