Selectmen to Mull Deer Hunting Regulations Monday Night

The Board of Selectmen meets at 7 p.m. Monday, July 16.

The Weston Board of Selectmen at its meeting Monday, July 16, will likely vote on deer hunting regulations on public land in Weston, according to the agenda for tonight's meeting.

At its meeting on June 11, selectmen voted 3-0 in favor of a deer management plan for certain public land areas in Weston, which was recommended by the Conservation Commission.

At the June 11 meeting, selectmen said they wished to see more details on safety, hours hunting would occur and other rules that could be put into place.

The board meets July 16 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, with deer management regulations set for discussion at 8:15 p.m. A vote is anticipated.
